Pegboard Nerds – Bassline Kickin’ The Remixes (Monstercat) [Free Download]

After the success of their electro house banger Bassline Kickin‘, Pegboard Nerds are back on Monstercat, this time with three remixes from up-and-comers Astronaut, Dzeko & Torres, and Silverback. And did I mention it’s FREE? There’s no excuse to miss out on this epic download pack!

1. Bassline Kickin’ (Astronaut Remix)

Astronaut have been some of my favorite producers in the game recently. Churning out one epic remix/original after another, the UK-based duo is absolutely on fire and this remix is no exception! Epic melodic arpeggios, sweeping orchestral movements, monstrous basslines, you name it, this remix does it and better than the rest; easily my favorite off the release. Be on the lookout for big things to come from Astronaut in 2014.

2. Bassline Kickin’ (Dzeko & Torres Remix)

With their remix, Dzeko & Torres put a big room spin on the original that is sure to have the everyone on the dance floor jumping in no time. While I’m not really into this particular style of EDM, fans of “Animals” and “Tsunami” can definitely add this track to the playlist of big room bangers they’ve been throwing together.

3. Bassline Kickin’ (Silverback Remix)

Silverback is a relative newcomer on the bass music block, but quickly made a name for himself with his epic dubstep remix of “Latch” by Disclosure (LISTEN HERE); this remix Silverback did for Pegboard Nerds is further proof that he’s someone to watch out for. In a scene that has been inundated with big room and trap as of late, I was really happy they included at least one dubstep remix in the pack to keep things feeling nice and fresh. A lot of people out there are saying “dubstep is dead,” but those people clearly aren’t prepared for what Silverback and the rest of the dubheads out there have in store for them in 2014. Just wait until Skrillex’s album comes out, maybe that will help them understand; if not, they were already a lost cause anyways.

Which remix is your favorite? Let us know in the comments!

silverback remix is unreal, definitely has that zomboy, schoolboy feel.
