David Guetta Finally Charts Billboard No.1

Since the January 2013 inception of Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs, the mainstream don David Guetta had failed to nab the elusive No. 1 spot – until now. His work with Nicki Manaj on ‘Hey Mama’ has finally landed him at the top, which is surprising, considering his career’s 18 charted titles (surpassed only by Skrillex’s 21). Previously, Guetta maxed out at the No. 5 spot as a guest on Rihanna’s ‘Right Now.’

For the tracking week ending April 19, “Hey Mama” charged up 25% to total 75,000 downloads sold, keeping the track in the No.1 spot for its fourth consecutive week. David Guetta is currently trailed by Zeddlena’s “I Want You To Know” at No.2, and Jack U’s Bieber blasted “Where Are U Now” at the No.3 spot
