A-Trak – Parallel Lines feat. Phantogram (BLU J Remix)

Producer BLU J has just gotten his latest remix debuted on the official Soundcloud account of A-trak as part of an upcoming “Parallel Lines” remix EP out soon on Fool’s Gold Records. BLU J’s remix sees the original track flipped into a joyous and funky deep house swayer, complete with twisted vocals and an unceasingly pleasant rhythm underneath.

It begins with Phantogram‘s vocals in the spotlight with shimmering synth pads and thumping percussion bouncing behind them. After a short climb, the voices are pitched high and held steady atop an infectious array of cymbals and claps. The deep, funk-fueled bass line carries the energy of the song throughout its length, supporting the various synth stings and layers that fade in and out.
