Calvin Harris Teases Snoop Dogg, Travis Scott & More Collabs With Album Pre-order Video

Calvin Harris’ new direction marks a significant departure from his past EDM hits, aligning closely with the radio-friendly, hip-hop sound dominating mainstream radio at the moment. His new album, Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1, includes already released collaborations with Frank Ocean and Migos, Future and Khalid and Pharrell Williams, Ariana Grande and Young Thug, but much of the album has yet to be heard…until now.

Harris shared the Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1 preorder link to his social media accounts, and also included a great teaser video that previews a few new collaborations courtesy of a skilled scarlet macaw. Among those collaborations heard are tracks with Snoop Dogg, Travis Scott, Kehlani, Big Sean, Nicki Minaj and more. The sampling of the album so far indicates a very R&B, hip-hop fusion direction for Harris, a 180 degree turn from his EDM-rooted history. While a full tracklist is not yet available, the pre-order link confirms the album will span ten tracks.

Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1 releases on June 30. Watch the album preview teaser below:
