Brasstracks – Fever

The first original from Brasstracks this year is everything you’d hope for. Starting their musical journey together not too long ago, their quick rise in the industry has already gained them multiple GRAMMY nominations and wins. Their new track “Fever” hits on the aural points that we know and love from the duo and kick starts their 2017 with a bang.

Combining funk driven, jazzy brass tracks (pun intended), with hip-hop beats and some beautifully laid instrumentation, “Fever” is the summer jam you’ve been waiting for. With a simple sample and a drum pattern, the listener is intrigued as the track begins. The iconic layered trumpets come in and give us a taste of the melody as the drums carry the listener through. Big subs cut through, horn stabs hit the listener’s ears left and right, and trumpets bleed over the top, creating pure brass bliss.
