If we’re talking logically, then the next evolution of Snails would be Slimez. But this isn’t a logical situation, nor is it really that serious. Slimez doesn’t have any relation to Snails, but he did just release a track called “Stupid” and you’d be stupid not to listen to it.
With dubstep fans these days just wanting to headbang, tracks have developed a more uniform style. The tempo is more predictable so that fans can accurately headbang… none of that creative sound design shit. (We’re kidding, obviously.) But Slimez works within that predictability and comes out with something that’s still creative.
Yes, “Stupid” is wonderful for headbanging. But it also features some interesting production and an engaging melody. Check it out below.
