Visionary producer TroyBoi joined forces with UK Garage MC and pioneer Harvey on a hard-hitting trap and drum and bass infused offering titled ‘GO OFF!’. The single, which was released on 22 November via Create Music Group, is teeming with lightning-speed energy and inescapable voracity.
As two formidable forces within the UK and global music arenas, this collaboration celebrates their individual creative prowess, artistic vision and influence, while magnificently showcasing their chemistry and synergy as a pair.
TroyBoi has crafted a remarkable career as one of the UK’s most revered producers. He has performed at the infamous Red Rocks Ampitheatre in the US, while his remix of the Billie Eilish single ‘my boy’ has amassed over 110 million Spotify streams. Not bound by genre, TroyBoi is renowned for his gripping live performances which often feature dancers, live instruments and striking visuals. 
Harvey is an award-winning artist, and has been a pivotal figure in the UK Garage scene. He’s also one of the founders of the groundbreaking UK Garage collective So Solid Crew, and has worked with the likes of Stormzy, Christina Milian and Gyptian.
In an Instagram post, TroyBoi shared that working with Harvey was like a full-circle moment. As a teenager, he looked up to Harvey and the So Solid Crew, which made collaborating with him so much more special. TroyBoi shared; “Full circle moment right here. When I was in my early teens I used to listen to a lot of UK Garage. So Solid Crew were one of the main acts at the forefront of the genre and I had their album ‘They Don’t Know’ on repeat! Fast forward to today and I’m dropping a track with one of my favourite MC’s from the group. Huge love to @harveyofficial for slaying our track and for being such an amazing human.”
‘GO OFF’ begins as a punchy hip hop tune, fuelled by a hefty bassline and impeccable sound design. Harvey’s flow and precocious lyricism are all encompassing and merges symbiotically with the production. TroyBoi ingeniously switches up the track from hip hop to drum and bass in a seamless transition, further elevating and expanding the track.
