Dom Dolla has added another major achievement to his rapidly growing list of milestones. He is now the official recipient of the ARIA’s new Global Impact Award. The prestigious award honours Australian artists who have achieved exceptional international and cultural influence over the previous year.
The honour caps off a standout year for the Melbourne-born producer, who became the first electronic artist to appear on the cover of Rolling Stone AU/NZ. He also sold out two nights at Madison Square Garden, headlined Ultra Music Festival in Miami and set an attendance record at Lollapalooza’s Perry’s Stage. With his first-ever stadium show at Sydney’s Allianz Stadium approaching and seven ARIA nominations, Dom Dolla’s global rise shows no signs of slowing down any time soon.
