Whethan continues his run of high-energy releases with WAREHOUSE.WAVS2, the second instalment of his viral SoundCloud remix series. Arriving exclusively on SoundCloud, the project lands ahead of his bassPOD takeover at EDC Las Vegas on May 17, where he is set to perform from 2:30AM – 3:30AM.
Built around tracks currently fuelling his live sets, WAREHOUSE.WAVS2 pushes further into bass-heavy territory, blending dubstep, trap, warehouse-style club energy, and internet-era nostalgia. The result is a fast-moving collection of flips that reflect the chaotic, high-impact direction of his current sound.
Across the project, Whethan reimagines a wide spectrum of records from different eras and genres. Highlights include a distorted rework of A$AP Rocky ‘Distorted Records’ alongside Dennett, a modern reflip of Breathe Carolina ‘Blackout’, and a heavy reinterpretation of Kaskade ‘Move For Me’, The tape also dives into underground and viral culture with flips of tracks like EsDeeKid’s ‘4raws’, alongside rap and blog era staples including Yung Joc’s ‘It’s Goin Down’, Rich Boy’s ‘Throw Some D’s’, and Lloyd Banks & Juelz Santana’s ‘Beamer, Benz or Bentley’. 
Elsewhere, Whethan leans into crossover and alternative influences with a bass-driven take on Turnstile, BIRDS, as well as a remix of The Pack’s Vans, further reinforcing the project’s blend of nostalgia, internet culture, and modern club energy. Together, the collection reflects the raw, genre-blurring approach that has defined his recent resurgence across both streaming and live spaces.
Since re-entering a heavier bass-focused direction in 2025, Whethan has seen renewed momentum across global markets, with sold-out shows in cities including Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, and Denver, alongside growing demand for underground pop-ups and late-night sets.
