LizdekLizdek has officially unveiled DUALITY, his sophomore studio album and first full-length LP since 2022’s Gemini, marking a new chapter for one of bass music’s more stylistically fluid producers. Released via MONTA Records, the project arrives after a busy run of collaborations and remixes that have helped establish the Sable Valley affiliate as an artist willing to blur the lines between dubstep, trap and experimental electronic music.
At the heart of DUALITY is the concept that has shaped much of Lizdek’s catalogue: the balance between melody and aggression. Across the album, elements of shoegaze, rage rap and modern bass music intersect, while collaborations with artists including Matt OX, ailow, DJ Smokey and SURF expand its sonic palette. Rather than sticking to a single lane, the LP leans into contrasting textures and influences that reflect the producer’s evolving creative identity.
The release follows a period of growing momentum for Lizdek, including a collaboration with Habstrakt on Monstercat and widespread attention surrounding his rework of Skrillex’s “Push”. Along the way, his productions have found support from a broad range of electronic heavyweights, including Skrillex, RL Grime, Four Tet and DJ Snake, further cementing his place within the modern bass landscape.
With DUALITY now out in the world, Lizdek is also preparing for a string of live appearances throughout the summer, including a back-to-back set with ailow at a Brownies & Lemonade event in Seattle alongside RL Grime, Gryffin and Wax Motif. As his sound continues to evolve beyond traditional genre boundaries, the album stands as his most fully realised statement to date and another step forward in an already fast-rising career.
