Here’s an interesting pairing for you – Dutch producer/DJ Sander van Doorn has signed with Jay Z‘s Roc Nation label. Sander’s track Nothing Inside with vocalist Mayaeni is set to be released on the label sometime soon. Here’s what Sander had to say about the recent signing:
“I am incredibly happy about this signing because, as a producer, you always want to reach as many people with your music as you can. ‘Nothing Inside’ is something I’m very proud of, so having it released on Roc Nation is absolutely insane! It’s a real honour to be on a label with so many amazing talents.”
Sander joins the ranks of Chase & Status, Calvin Harris, Santigold and other electronic acts to be featured on Hov’s label. Jay Z has been vocal about his interest in EDM, earlier this year stating, “dance music is a revolution. I want to be a part of it.” His Made in America festival earlier this year, which took place in Philadelphia, featured artists such as Skrillex, Afrojack, and Nicky Romero among others.
