Grandtheft & Christian Rich Go to ’93 on Trap Track Deep

deep

Grandtheft and Christian Rich have graced us with a trap track that the older ravers will recognize. “Deep” samples 1993 track “Deep Inside” from Hardrive, an alias for one half of the legendary Masters at Work team. Originally a Strictly Rhythm release, the fact that Grandtheft and Christian Rich would update the song for its twentieth anniversary is a lovely allusion any classic house fan can enjoy. Its synth work is much akin to that of Diplo on Chris Brown‘s “Look At Me Now“, complete with the syncopated hi-hats and 808s that come with trap’s territory. “Deep” is now available here on Beatport.
