We have just received exciting new that the infamous Chicago based label, Moody Recordings, that produced some of the greatest house music from 1996 to 2005, has officially re-launched! If you’re not familiar with them, Moody pushed the music from house great’s like CZR, Stacy Kidd, and Halo & Hipp-e and other countless artists that in turn had a huge impact on the dance music scene. Owen Ingram, the mastermind who formally ran Toolroom Records with Mark Knight, will be managing this renovated label and we can expect nothing but great things to come.
This re-launch has received lots of praise all over the industry as Knight himself stated, “The pedigree of Moody is unquestionable, in fact it is a corner stone in dance music history”. Kaskade also said, “I’m so stoked to see Moody be brought back to life! This label put out so much incredible music back in the day, I can only imagine what they have in store for us now.” This is without a doubt an exciting rebirth for the legendary house label so check them out below and stay tuned here for news on their upcoming releases!
