I might get a bit of flack for this, but I really didn’t like the original mix for “King Is Back.” Perhaps I’m getting a little bit tired of the Snails sound, but it just seemed like more of the same. Still, when Snails offered up the acapella and instrumental for free download, it was inevitable that someone would come and rock that shit. And so it was.
Armed & Dangerou$ have made the best remix of the tune that I’ve heard so far, and Snails even commented to say so himself. The remix opens with trap horn flare and modified tempo that just screams trap arms. The second drop, though, is where this tune really gets me.
It turns into absolute carnage as Armed & Dangerou$ use those newly popular riddim bass synths coupled with well-placed cymbal crashes to absolutely destroy this mix, upping the energy 1000 percent.
