Karma Fields’ third track is probably his (their?) best yet. Combined with the indomitable talents of Danish producer MORTEN and the powerful spoken-word vocals of actress/musician Juliette Lewis, this might even be one of Monstercat’s best releases of the year. (Just kidding, that’s still to come.)
“Stickup” reminds me of a heavier Deadmau5, if I’m being honest, and I love the weighty electro vibes and unrelenting force behind the bass. The drop simply falls into place, catching you unawares and leaving you reeling from the shock.
