UK superstars Disclosure recently teamed up with Red Bull Music Academy for a segment of “Studio Science”, providing viewers with an in-depth look at their live set-up and the hardware that makes their act possible.
The brothers use a number of live instruments, including several toms and cymbals, bass and six-string guitars, and synthesizers, alongside the more modern MIDI devices such as keyboards and drum pads. In addition to their hardware, the brothers describe what can go wrong with a live act as opposed to a DJ set, and their methods to coping with the technological demand their performance requires.
