Following yesterday’s uploads of unreleased Skrillex material, Redditors have continued adding to the collection with eight new tracks.
Though we appreciate the Your EDM shout out from Areuokpharrell, the “Rock N Roll (VIP)” is only subtly different than the original, as is “Bangarang (VIP).” It’s certainly refreshing to hear new ideas breathed into these classic Skrillex tunes, but the differences are only noticeable in the alternated introductions and breakdowns.
However, the real treat today are a collaboration with Chris Lorenzo called “Come Again” and DeJ Loaf’s “We Winnin'” as remixed by Mija and Skrillex.
“Come Again” bares hints of Skrillex’s sound design set against the proven house mind of Chris Lorenzo. With evocative low end croons similar to “Fuck That” and playful percussion dancing around nostalgic synth pads, this is by far the most interesting track of today’s uploads.
“We Winning Spider” sounds more like an endeavor from the playful mind of Slushii around rather than a dual effort from Mija and Skrillex, but it’s sure to please those happy with the latest trend of bubbly future bass.
An added bonus comes in the form of “Kamoze Dub,” a special dose of Bollystep that fans will definitely remember.
