As followers of Snails’ social media will know, his New Year’s Eve stop in Denver at Decadance marked a very important milestone in his career. He told fans to expect “the biggest announcement” he’s ever given, and lucky for us, members of the EDM Sauce team were in attendance to capture the full reveal.
During the final minutes of his hour and a half set on Saturday, Snails took to the mic to introduce his attendees to a video that played across the stage’s screens. He promised “another level of bass and filth” to take place in 2017 at Sluggtopia, a brand new festival at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
On October 6, 2017, Snails will be joined by NGHTMRE, JOYRYDE and other worthy bass music scientists to play one of their biggest shows to date, according to the video. As some have speculated, the announcement comes as a subtle hint that Snails might be taking some time off from touring in the upcoming months to more wholly focus on creating new music to premiere at the event.
