Since signing to OWSLA/Atlantic/Big Beat in August, Ekali has been doing quite well as an artist. He’s released a single with Denzel Curry, announced a new tour, and received an official remix from the OWSLA head honcho himself, Skrillex.
He continues to push forward with a new collaboration with Opia entitled “Past Life.” The vibe on this new cut could not be more opposite than that of “Babylon,” his last single. “Past Life” is a lighter and more melodic side of Ekali, a display of his versatility across multiple styles of production; that being said, the drop still contains his signature bass and sound that he’s cultivated throughout his career.
