The FCC has decided to repeal the rules put in place by the Obama administration in 2015 in order to keep the internet free and secure. Ajit Pai and his confederates will have to take the issue to court and congress now in order to further impose regulations on the internet, but the American people will not let this stand.
Reactions to the decision from DJs, producers, and those involved in music have been especially heated. It is predicted that with the advent of new rules regarding net neutrality (or lack thereof), it will become increasingly difficult for burgeoning producers to get their music heard, as they lack the resources to bypass the pay walls that will inevitably arise from the ISPs.
We’ve collected just a few of the reactions from the scene’s most vocal individuals below.

A handful of people just decided that 380 million of us don't need to decide what we have full access to on the internet. Such bullshit. Be pissed. #NetNeutrality

I feel equally as baffled today, as I’m reading that Net Neutrality is being repealed, as I was when Trump got elected President. I just absolutely can’t imagine anyone voting for that…… then I realize, I am living in a bubble of like-minded, progressive-thinking people 😔

Text BATTLE to 384-387 to show that you want to keep Net Neutrality in place!
The internet is the last place everybody has an equal voice.
Everyone can be heard.

I have a plan to fix the internet. We need to destroy Ajit Pai's Horcrux. It's his Reese's mug.

Remember 1 year ago how everyone was like I CANT WAIT FOR 2016 TO BE OVER, LETS GO 2017. Yeah that was dumb.

The only silver lining I can see with the #NetNeutality decision is that maybe this is finally what it takes to make some of y'all vote.
They had to go n fuck with your memes….

Fuck you FCC. The idea of a tiered internet makes me feel like we're all staying at one big fucking Ramada Inn. #NetNeutality

This is why it is important to vote for presidents that will appoint people who aren’t fuckwits.
Nobody listens to you after that.
Bye bye internet.

— Manila Killa (@manilakilla) December 14, 2017
I’m in China and apps are blocked here. I can’t even use Instagram and stuff which really stuns my posting schedule. It really gets me worried about this Net Neutrality decision. If you’re an artist and have a voice and still want a freakin career. Please….
— ookay (@Ookay) December 14, 2017
let’s start our own internet
— Kill Paris (@killparis) December 14, 2017

— Downlink (@downlinkmusic) December 14, 2017
URGENT: the FCC voted to let Big companies control what you can and cannot see on the Internet by getting rid of #NetNeutality.
We NEED congress to stop this or it will RUIN the Internet.
Go here and TAKE ACTION. Without YOU the internet will be lost.https://t.co/XjqC1tlRRS
