It’s been five years since NGHTMRE and Big Gigantic first teamed up on “Like That.” Following a bevy of performances as Gigantic NGHTMRE, they are finally back with a new single, the aptly titled “Back for More” and we couldn’t be more excited. “Back for More” is a perfect blend of the two artists’ styles. We’ve got some old-school style UK dubstep combined with the high vocal pitches that NGHTMRE features and, of course, that unmistakable sax and live instrumentation of Big G.
“Back for More” is only the start, too. Gigantic NGHTMRE will be releasing an EP later this year, so expect more new music soon. On top of that, they’ll be playing their first headline show of the year at the Brooklyn Mirage on July 30. In fact, we can expect more Gigantic NGHTMRE performances in the future. They’ll also be performing at Shambhala Festival in Canada next month as well.
“I remember discovering Big Gigantic’s music while wandering around as a fan at Camp Bisco in 2012! I got the chance to collaborate with them in 2018 and it was a no brainer! Once we dropped ‘like that’ we got the opportunity to play some of the biggest festivals around the US and they’ve been some of the best memories I’ve had so far in music. We finally found time to write music together this year and we are so so proud of how this music is sounding. So stoked to share it with the world!!” – NGHTMRE
“Tyler and I got this idea for a song after one of our shows that has sax and bass on the drop and we added this sick vocal to it. It’s a song that really blends our two styles together and I really love the way it turned out.” – Big Gigantic
