Producer, DJ and sound engineer Oi shared his spectacular debut EP titled Yaffa on 5 November.
The release of the poignant EP also marks the official launch of his own label Yaffa Records. The EP is a heartfelt and emotionally-rich tribute to Oi’s mother, with each track carrying part of her essence, strength and light.
Across 5 tracks, Oi showcases his dynamism as a producer and sublime technical ability as a sound engineer. The EP delivers fun-loving House and Techno grooves, introspective and layered soundscapes, organic instrumentation along with traditional Spanish influences. 
Yaffa is undoubtedly a striking amalgamation of global influences and textures; from the experimental, ambient sounds of the opening track which is also the title track, to the Acid-tinged Techno of ‘Desert Blood’ to the captivating warmth of ‘You Got Me’, the EP brilliantly highlights Oi’s creative evolution and boundary-breaking spirit.
