DJ and producer Cenk Gursoy shared his evocative new offering ‘Sun Begins To Rise’ on 31 October via Daze Records.
The brooding yet immersive track carries a powerful emotional heft, and is a stand-out melodic house soundscape which showcases Cenk Gursoy’s ever-evolving sound. With ‘Sun Begins To Rise’ vulnerable storytelling meets technical prowess, highlighting Cenk’s wealth of experience over his remarkable eight year career.
His work includes collaborations with Sony Music, and his discography boasts over 9 million streams. He’s also performed at prestigious venues like Hovarda in London, Armani Privé in Dubai, Daze Turkbuku and Fashion Week Istanbul. He’s even performed for luxury fashion houses such as Louis Vuitton and Moncler. 
‘Sun Begins To Rise’ pairs introspection with expansion and momentum. The track features scintillating rhythmic percussion, a kaleidoscope of synth layers along with cinematic textures. While its title evokes hope and light, the single itself feels like a paradox. ‘Sun Begins To Rise’ carries an undercurrent of bittersweet emotion, capturing the delicate beauty that accompanies moments of change or growth.
Revealing more on the single; “The song has a melancholic theme, even though it’s called ‘Sun Begins To Rise’. It’s emotional but still full of energy, like watching the world wake up after a long night. There’s sadness, but also peace and movement. It’s that balance I wanted to capture.”
