deadmau5 is gearing up for the release of his 12th We Are Friends compilation on his label mau5trap.
The ‘Strobe’ retake by &friends and Moeaike drops on 5 December 2025, while the entire compilation will be available from 9 January 2025.
Based on the snippet shared on mau5trap’s Instagram page, the retake sounds heavily influenced by Afro House rhythms, and has a sultry groove to it. This is no surprise, as Dubai-based producer and DJ &friends is known for his distinct take on Afro House, while Italian duo Moeaike are renowned for their melodic house and Afro House sensibilities. 
The rest of the compilation features techno artist Ciauru who will be making his debut on the label, as well as German heavy-hitter Avis Vox. More artists and tracks will be released ahead of the compilation’s official release date, so keep an eye out on mau5trap’s socials!
