Uploaded earlier today via Thump’s channel on Youtube comes the mini-documentary of the creation of Pretty Light‘s new album, A Color Map of the Sun. Following the creative processes of Derek Vincent Smith, aka Pretty Lights, the documentary also follows his many collaborations with differing artists as well as the countless number of physical instruments used in both recording sessions as well as those present on the album. Despite running close to half an hour, the mini documentary is fluid, informative and above all else extremely motivational. Even if you don’t enjoy Pretty Light’s music, I highly recommend the video.
