AlphaTheta adds Apple Music integration to CDJ-3000X update

A key update for the CDJ-3000X has added compatibility with Apple Music. Announced yesterday, the update expands the controller’s support for online music sources. While the CDJ-3000X controller already enables DJs to perform using tracks stored in cloud platforms and streaming services, this latest update further enhances its DJing capabilities.

With Apple Music available on the CDJ-3000X, users can browse and play from a catalog of more than 100 million tracks. This includes current charts as well as personalized playlists. DJs are also able to access the music they listen to on a regular basis, offering greater flexibility in performance style and track selection.

In order to make use of this new feature, users must complete the CloudDirectPlay setup and sign into Apple Music via Rekordbox in advance. Authentication can be done via NFC, QR Code or a USB device prepared through Rekordbox.
