Puff Daddy and Guy Gerber‘s collaborative album, 11:11, has been teased for a bit now. Thanks to THUMP, who provided a new preview video, the two have announced dates for not only the release of the album, but also a documentary. The album is set for August 13th, whereas the documentary will be dropped on the 18th of the same month. Puff says that this project isn’t “dance music,” but that’s a pretty huge umbrella term. Given what “My Heart” sounds like, I’d say it actually is dance music, however, the innovation that is occurring is what he is trying to point out, justifiably so. After taking a peek at the video, you can have a listen to the song for yourself and see what you think. I’m sure there will be even more mind-blowing content on the full release.
