500,000 copies of DJ Snake and Lil Jon‘s quintessential party single “Turn Down For What” have been sold which gives the record gold status. Halfway to platinum in less than a month is pretty spectacular, but let’s face it, who didn’t think it would strike gold? The song is nearly everywhere and the cross-genre collaboration opens up the market for an even wider listening audience. Congratulations to Snake and Jon; we hope you reach the million mark!
