In case you didn’t hear the latest news involving Rusko, the now LA-based UK legend recently announced that, after a disagreement with his former label, Mad Decent over the release of his latest album, “Songs”, he would release all of his music for free from now on. Today marks the first release since leaving Mad Decent, the “Kapow” EP.
Rusko is one of only a few artists that have refused to follow trends as dubstep has changed over the last few years. The “Kapow” EP is as funky as ever, with a little bit of drum & bass influenced over Rusko’s bluesy chords and beautifully simple sound design. You can get the entire KAPOW EP from Rusko’s website here.
