As if EDM fans weren’t already overdosing on festival line-up announcements this week, Thursday at 12AM marked another huge release: Phase One of Chicago’s fourth annual North Coast Music Festival!
The nocturnal were blessed when their inboxes lit-up with not only a tempting list of artists but also the chance to grab tickets at an early-bird price. Given EDM ticket sales move at the speed of light, the lucky few secured their place at Union Park for Labor Day weekend in a matter of minutes.
This late-summer festival has a tradition of bringing varying circles of fans together: everyone from your typical EDM-loving masses to the increasingly popular electro-jam-band fans, while also catering to Chicago’s active hip-hop crowd. In it’s fourth year, the festival’s organizers have crafted the ideal line-up to cap-off every fan’s summer fest run.
This year’s headliners include hip-hop legends’ The Wu-Tang Clan and NaS, dance floor titan Afrojack, and the innovative duo Big Gigantic. Some personal favorites we’re most excited to see include The Disco Biscuits, Skream, and French sensation Madeon. Check out the entire first-wave artist line-up below:
