It’s looking like Hakkasan nightclub in Las Vegas will be the place to be in 2014. Their current arsenal of resident DJ’s like Tiësto, Calvin Harris, Hardwell and Steve Aoki wasn’t enough apparently so they decided to add some more people to the list. Afrojack, Above & Beyond and W&W will be joining the Hakkasan crew along with Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano. Afrojack and Above & Beyond left their residencies at Wynn properties, which is a huge loss for the Wynn team.
Deadmau5 ends his run at Hakkasan, but I think given the current team they don’t mind too much. Besides for the big name list Hakkasan will also have special one night events with artists like Moby and Dada Life. It’s looking like big budget is winning out; there’s no other way a venue could snag all these artists for residencies without a whole lot of money behind it. 2014 is set to be a prosperous year for not only Hakkasan but their CEO Neil Moffitt.

That’s not surprising. I looked at Wynn’s calendar for this month and wow, they are in trouble. They got rid of the locals night at Surrender and have garbage DJs (besides Diplo) for XS Locals night.
o.O wow.
