Kai Wachi never ceases to amaze me. Neither does the Kannibalen Records family as a whole, who released Kai’s single “Medusa” for free today. His unique trap/dubstep hybrid sound oozes a pleasing dark vibe that I can never get over. This single is no exception; in part because it has some of the grimiest growls the Boise producer has made. To juxtapose the low end he implements some insane staccato synth with rhythms I can’t get out of my head. Everything from sound design to the mixdown is perfection; you know you are getting a top notch production when Kai Wachi brings something to the table. Be thankful this is free and stay tuned for more music from everyone at Kannibalen!
