Twofold got into the scene with their debut EP “The Prelude,” which was released on Datsik’s label “Firepower Records.” Recently, they released their follow-up EP titled “The Second Phase” and quickly made their way up the Beatport dubstep charts to the #1 spot with “Skyfire” (one of the tunes in the EP) getting support from UKF. After kicking off a remix contest for “Skyfire” (which you can check out here), Twofold released a free tune on UKF that the duo dubs “All Around.” The tune is a melodic dubstep gem featuring everything from a unique piano melody to a growling, grimy bass-line.
The tune starts out slow with a plucking melody that plays throughout the song and builds up into the piano that gives it some wonderful character. The drops are massive and euphoric, featuring everything from the main uplifting melody and vocal work, to the classic crunchy dubstep drums and bass with a subtle crisp added to them.
