Directed by Krewella’s videographer Miles Evert, this music video is quite interesting, to say the least. It’s the official music video of DotEXE’s “Inside Out.” It’s imitating one of the most iconic music videos of EDM history: up there with some of the most NSFW music videos of all time like Miley Cyrus’s Wrecking Ball, is of course that of Benny Benassi’s “Satisfaction,” which has close to 25 million views on youtube as of now. Miles Evert is bringing the floppy disk back with “Inside Out’s” music video, and it’s… voluptuous.
Don’t let the music video distract you from the awesome music though. Released via Monstercat, Inside Out is quite the banger. It’s a dark hip-hop tune with some righteous trap and glitch hop vibes featuring everything from a deep, dark 808-kick and trap-influenced percussion, to some impressive vocal chopping-skills and sound design — great stuff from DotEXE.
