With their collaboration with Starkillers “Sweet Surrender” out on Beatport since last Friday and their remix of DJ Snake and Lil Jon‘s “Turn Down For What” around the same time for free, April is to be the month that this Vegas duo is going to strike. To show off the effort these two have put into their studio time, Black Boots is now giving away their remix to the popular song “Need U (100%)” by Duke Dumont.
Unlike their previous originals or remixes which traverse through the progressive house element, Black Boots’ most recent endeavor is tangled in a whole new sub-genre all together. From the original’s UK garage style, this song is reborn into a bass-driven trap anthem. With chopped, high-pitch vocals and masculine grunts, this remix pours out the same emotion singer A*M*E vocalizes with an entire new sound behind it and positive results.
