I’ve decided to start off the week with a unique track from Thomas Cooper entitled “Wasting Days Drifting Away.” With an instrumental that matches the title to a tee, you are forced to experience the liberating feeling of freedom. Freedom from worry and responsibility is what summer is all about and Thomas Cooper’s musical piece is the physical manifestation of that as a melodic dubstep freebie. However, it delves into progressive house with a change of the drum beat, thanks to the synth work not being far off from that style in the first place. Those two genres are not mixed very often, so to hear someone doing it well is very nice to hear.
