American drum ‘n’ bass supergroup Evol Intent has just revealed their newest creation, “Under The Radar.” Consisting of Bro Safari, Treasure Fingers, and Computer Club, the trio is overflowing with talent. Their heavy sound is born out of a wide taste in music. This diversity shows in their production.
“Under The Radar” is anything but. It opens serenely with mellow ambience, but quickly turns on its heel with a punching bassline. The rhythm intensifies, takes a break, then lays in harder accompanied by wobbling, distorted synths. As the song concludes, you realize you’re out of breath and decide you must hit play all over.
