One Direction Star Makes Surprisingly Good House Music

Expect to see a lot more of One Direction’s Liam Payne in the weeks and months to come if this recent remix is any indicator of his growing interest in EDM and future house. Under the moniker of Payno, the famous boy band’s singer is venturing into the ever expanding and growing house sub-genre called future house. Popularized by the likes of Oliver Heldens and Tchami, the increasingly predominant sound can now be found in Liam’s remix of Cheryl’s “I Don’t Care.”

Now is it great? Not really, but all in all, it’s surprisingly better than I would have expected. Personally I’d recommend coming in with an open mind before listening to the remix, who knows, it might surprise you.
