Earlier this month, people across the United States celebrated the 4th of July with barbecue hot dogs, waving flags, and brilliant fireworks. While everyone partied on America’s birthday their own way, some LA locals turned up with a Serbian-Australian fellow reigning havoc on the decks at Avalon. Legendary DJ and producer Dragan Raganović (also known as Dirty South) took a massive crowd with him on a musical journey that lasted over four hours.
In his 284 minutes of non-stop music, Dirty South blended classic house grooves, unreleased tracks, and current summer jams with some of his very own original content including “Champions”, “Walking Alone”, and “Unbreakable”. Also in this mix, we see awesome tunes like “2Night” by Eric Prydz, “Strobe” by Deadmau5, and “Teasing Mr. Charlie” by Steve Angello. Close to the end, listeners can even hear Dirty South play his newest single, “Find A Way,” featuring long time collaborator Rudy. This particular song in the lengthy mix gives listeners something to look forward to as the single will see a release on August 28th later this year.
Without cutting any corners, Dirty South played his all time favorites with his sensational creations in full force crafting an experience for Avalon patrons of that night. Now, Dragan shares the experience by delivering this massive set for free off of his SoundCloud account. Whether you stream or download this voyage into house music, listening to this set in full will place you in the middle of an energetic evening you have never been to.
