Is Diplo & MØ’s Follow Up To “Lean On” Worthy?

Diplo‘s Major Lazer, DJ Snake and MØ put together one of the biggest hits of the year with “Lean On.” Now, Diplo and MØ have followed up with another collab entitled “Kamikaze.” This popped-out simplistic production gives MØ more creative space in the single, and due to the diversified lyricism, it fails to hit upon the catchy potential that “Lean On” had when released. Still, it impresses more than their previous collaborative effort, “XXX 88.”

From start to close, it’s a solid track and successful release featuring tasteful production, and it will likely see quite a bit of radio play as result. A worthy follow up? We would say so. Fans can’t expect viral hit after viral hit, and this track merely needed to hit home and deliver well the message that MØ and Diplo are a killer collaborative duo – and we think they accomplished the mission eloquently.

Check it out below.
