Highfire Records is back with their newest tune, an original from Katdrop and Landon Stahmer called “Typical Love.” It sounds a lot like an Owl City and Matoma mashup, quite an interesting combination; but in this case, I think it works.
The vocals from Stahmer mesh nicely with the melody, and the flutes give it that definitive tropical feeling. Everything together creates a unique sonic landscape that you’d be hard pressed to find anywhere else.
