Hardwell’s New Collab Is An Unexpected Anthem

Hardwell just released a left field collaboration with KURA that has us wondering what exactly Revealed is up to. Titled “Calavera,” the track is a big room blend of the same overpowering synths that have made jungle terror so popular.

Overall, “Calavera” is energetic, and doesn’t really pack anything we haven’t heard before, but it just works. The overall atmosphere of the tune has a bit of a latin chug like something we’d rage to at EDC Mexico, but we don’t doubt that this track is going to sweep through main stages all summer long. We’ll go ahead and overlook the impressively poor vocals, but then again, the drop is all that matters, right?

The music video attempts to formulate a Sin City meets Day of the Dead vibe, and though it’s nothing Earth-shattering, there’s at least a shred of story to keep us entertained. Have a listen below, and pick up “Calavera” for yourself on Beatport.
