Watch Defqon.1’s Mind-Crumbling Endshow

Special end-of-night shows have been gaining in popularity over the years, and for good reason. Removing the focus from a particular DJ and having total control over syncing lights, fireworks, and pyro with emotive music offers a chance for the festival to truly flex its creativity.

Now, we have the chance to re-live Defqon.1’s mind-bending closing show from Saturday night, and it looks insane.

At 22 minutes long, Defqon.1’s Saturday night feature is no small event, and replete with inspirational monologues and gorgeous melodies, Q-dance more than lived up to their title as the champions of hardstyle. Interspersed with just the right amount of ambiance and setting to give context for the music, watch below as the massive stage produces an awe-inducing moment.

“Follow your instinct, reach for the skies, face everything, and rise.”
