So, it’s happened. Josh Ostrovsky, AKA The Fat Jew, has started his own Major Lazer tribute band, Major Behavior.
Taking after Daft Punk’s own One More Time tribute act, Major Behavior is only paying credit where it’s due. Billboard went over to Mophonics Studio in NYC to check in on the new tributes, and how they plan to sort through who gets to be Diplo. “We’re Major Lazer super fans. All of the greatest musical acts throughout history have tribute groups. Led Zeppelin has Get The Led Out, KISS has Little KISS, the little midget KISS band, AC/DSHE. Major Lazer is one of the greatest musical acts in history, and they needed a tribute band.”
