Since the beginning, Daft Punk was something special. It didn’t take long before they soared out from the underground scene and became the global icons that we know today, but as difficult as it is to imagine, there was indeed a time before they were the robots.
Check out this footage from a 1995 show at the Carros Festival in France, with Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo sans hardware and in the flesh. To put this in perspective, Bangalter and de Homem-Christo were just 20 and 21 years old, respectively. Wow.
