Malarkey – Arcade Brain (Original Mix) [Tipsy Records]

As time goes on Tipsy Records is diversifying their A&Ring more and more moving onwards from conventional tropical and melodic house to feature more and more sounds and styles. Their latest release, “Arcade Brain” by Malarkey falls firmly in the ‘future funk vein’ making for an unexpectedly funky end to my blogging day.

The intro starts off with a bang with some sharp keys only for the song to be later blunted with some phat synths and groovy vocal edits. There’s something so infectious yet simple about this song that I really can’t get the delicious melodies out of my head. At the rate, I’m playing this track at I might just go insane before I get to dance to it on the weekend!
