Steve Aoki Drops ‘Just Hold On’ With Louis Tomlinson of One Direction

Another day, another instance of a ‘pop star goes EDM’ my friends. This time it’s charming Louis Tomlinson, of One Direction fame, who’s teamed up with everybody’s favorite cake-slinging gunner Steve Aoki for a brand new collaboration, “Just Hold On,” which just premiered via live on X Factor.

Released via Steve Aoki’s new home of Ultra Records, “Just Hold On” is a simple uplifting track with emotional lyrics which makes sense considering the awful loss of Tomlinson’s mother to cancer yesterday. The melody and production is uplifting and combines nicely with Louis’ voice to create the same kind of pop/dance hybrid track that we’ve been hearing on the radio more and more later.

Stream the live premiere and the studio version below.
