Quiet Disorder x Simon Field – Don’t Wake Me Up feat. Aleksander Walmann (Simon Field Remix)

Norwegian house producer Simon Field first popped up on my radar out of nowhere with a stunning original single “Fade” last year. Now, the producer is back and this time he’s showing off his smooth feel for remixes with a smooth deep house take on his own single “Don’t Wake Me Up” with Quiet Disorder.

The intro starts off subtlely with featured vocalist Aleksander Walmann’s soulful croons before Simon Field turns up the disco dub at the drop. The rest of the song carries in a similar vein highlighted by an even bouncier second drop as Simon Field opts to turn up the deep dub. All in all a strong demonstration of restraint and finesse from the producer.
