Major Lazer Re-Release ‘Peace Is The Mission’ With 5 Brand New Tracks

DJ Mag‘s Top 100 DJs list for 2017 really stirred things up…

Whether or not the list actually matters is entirely up for debate. Although it undeniably represents some of the most talented DJ/producers in the game, there are some glaring absences and misrepresentations. It’s an imperfect system, but it’s the one we have, and it has lasting ramifications on booking fees and artist opportunities around the globe.

While some have proven to be victorious, others are bashing the entire concept. For Diplo, it’s both.

“Only 75 spots til I’m finally off this list — let’s go further next year,” he tweeted.

He’s not the only one to voice his disapproval with the list. Read down the rabbit hole below.

According to DJ Mag, there were over a million legitimate votes cast for the poll this year. The Top 100 standings include 15 new entries, seven re-entries and 5 non-movers. For a more thorough analysis, check out our full breakdown of the DJ Mag Top 100 DJs 2017 here.
