The FBI has revealed a startling new development in the investigation of the deadliest mass shooting in modern U.S. history, after revealing search warrants on the shooter and his significant other.
The girlfriend of the gunman behind the Las Vegas shooting told authorities that her fingerprints might be found on some of his bullets because she would help the killer load magazines at times. Potentially, some of the same bullets that took the lives of 58 people and aided in Steve Paddock’s own suicide.
Documents were made public on Friday, in which Marilou Danley cooperated with investigators, returned to the U.S. from the Philippines pending the investigation, and it was determined there was no known “criminal involvement” of any kind by the girlfriend.
Still, investigators never ruled out the possibility of her connection to Paddock’s violent plan.
The newly released documents also revealed Paddock had a number of email exchanges pursuing funs and accessories, well before he carried out his deadly crime.
